[ET Net News Agency, 11 September 2026] The Hang Seng Index opened 236 points lower today at 24,718. It reached a high of 24,851, down 103 points, and a low of 24,570, down 384 points. The Hang Seng Index closed down 148 points, or 0.6%, at 24,805.
Southbound funds recorded a net inflow of HK$4.43b for the full day, compared to a net inflow of HK$4.55b on the previous session. The top stocks by net Southbound buying were CSOP HS TECH(03033), ZJ INNOLIGHT(03308), BABA-W(09988), Z.AI(02513) and YOFC(06869) in that order. The top stocks by net selling were SMIC(00981), MINIMAX-W(00100) and CNOOC(00883) in that order.
Mainboard turnover increased by 14.9% to nearly HK$228.43b. Among this, Stock Connect turnover exceeded HK$95.5b, accounting for 41.8% of the total turnover.
