There were 790 short-selling stocks. XIAOMI-W (01810) and TRACKER FUND (02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.95 billion and HK$1.92 billion, or 6.9% and 6.8% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 41.62% and 20.01% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TENCENT (00700) registered HK$1.5 billion and HK$988.68 million of short sales, accounting for 5.31% and 3.5% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 29.09% and 10.82% of respective stock's turnover.
