[ET Net News Agency, 9 December 2025] Half-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$107.76 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$15.73 billion, or 14.59% of the
market's turnover. There were 773 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.18 billion and HK$1.56
billion, or 13.86% and 9.9% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 39.18% and 25.55% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.41 billion and HK$387.68
million of short sales, accounting for 8.95% and 2.46% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 29.52% and 9.59% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.22, or 0.85%, to HK$25.76. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.08,
or 1.16%, to HK$92.08. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.16, or 2.72% to HK$41.42. CSOP HS TECH declined
by HK$0.075, or 1.35%, to HK$5.47.
