[ET Net News Agency, 9 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$210.24 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$36.64 billion, or 17.43% of the
market's turnover. There were 813 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.3 billion and HK$3.12
billion, or 11.75% and 8.52% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 42.26% and 31.69% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$2.16 billion and HK$1.9 billion
of short sales, accounting for 5.9% and 5.18% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 28.48% and 26.41% of respective stock's
turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed down HK$0.36, or 1.39%, to HK$25.62. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$1.66,
or 1.78%, to HK$91.5. XIAOMI-W fell HK$1.32, or 3.1% to HK$41.26. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.1, or 1.8%, to HK$5.445.
