There were 818 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and XIAOMI-W (01810) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$2.56 billion and HK$1.98 billion, or 5.49% and 4.24% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 12.95% and 39.28% of respective stock's turnover.
BYD COMPANY (01211) and PING AN (02318) registered HK$1.9 billion and HK$1.51 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.07% and 3.23% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 38.64% and 29.59% of respective stock's turnover.
