HK$147.33 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$22.69 billion, or 15.4% of the
market's turnover. There were 671 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and TENCENT
(00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.34 billion and HK$1.22
billion, or 19.15% and 5.4% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 34.53% and 13.14% of respective stock's turnover.
XIAOMI-W (01810) and MEITUAN-W (03690) registered HK$1.2 billion and HK$1.19 billion of
short sales, accounting for 5.27% and 5.24% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 20.88% and 20.89% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.14, or 0.69%, to HK$20.4. TENCENT ended up HK$5, or 1.28%,
to HK$395.6. XIAOMI-W rose HK$0.25, or 0.68% to HK$37.1. MEITUAN-W declined by HK$0.3, or
0.2%, to HK$149.7.
