[ET Net News Agency, 11 December 2025] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$182.48 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$26.56 billion, or 14.56% of the
market's turnover. There were 801 short-selling stocks. TRACKER FUND (02800) and HSCEI ETF
(02828) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$1.82 billion and HK$1.21
billion, or 6.85% and 4.56% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 16.68% and 9.79% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and XIAOMI-W (01810) registered HK$1.17 billion and HK$1.07 billion of
short sales, accounting for 4.41% and 4.03% of the total short sales values respectively.
The transactions represented 12.95% and 20.62% of respective stock's turnover.
TRACKER FUND closed up HK$0.06, or 0.23%, to HK$25.76. HSCEI ETF ended down HK$0.1, or
0.11%, to HK$91.58. BABA-W fell HK$2.6, or 1.7% to HK$150.6. XIAOMI-W jumped HK$0.4, or
0.96%, to HK$42.18.
