[ET Net News Agency, 26 January 2026] Full-day turnover of Hong Kong stocks was
HK$261.7 billion, with short-sales accounting for HK$37.43 billion, or 14.3% of the
market's turnover. There were 814 short-selling stocks. HSCEI ETF (02828) and TRACKER FUND
(02800) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$3.4 billion and HK$1.7 billion,
or 9.09% and 4.55% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions
represented 30.16% and 9.9% of respective stock's turnover.
POP MART (09992) and CSOP HS TECH (03033) registered HK$1.21 billion and HK$1.21 billion
of short sales, accounting for 3.23% and 3.23% of the total short sales values
respectively. The transactions represented 28.53% and 23.98% of respective stock's
turnover.
HSCEI ETF closed down HK$0.28, or 0.3%, to HK$93.66. TRACKER FUND ended up HK$0.02, or
0.07%, to HK$26.98. POP MART fell HK$2, or 0.91% to HK$217.6. CSOP HS TECH declined by
HK$0.065, or 1.15%, to HK$5.605.
