Green in Tuen Mun | Sustainable Feast Carnival
Description
"Exciting activities one after another"!
This September, "Green in Tuen Mun" takes "Food and Agriculture Education" and "Sustainable Eating" as its themes, preparing for you the #SustainableFeastCarnival.
Hong Kong is famously known as a "food paradise," gathering global culinary delights, making it easy to find something delicious. But if you consider yourself a food connoisseur, are you also #FoodWise?
We are honored to invite multiple food and agriculture organizations to co-host this carnival. Through interactive exhibitions, sharing sessions, and workshops, we aim to enhance everyone's understanding of food and agriculture education. We will guide you from the farmland, tracing each step of food—from cultivation, harvest, transportation, to cooking and serving—helping you appreciate the natural resources and long journey behind every meal. We encourage you to support Hong Kong agriculture, enjoy high-quality local produce, and reduce carbon emissions caused by importing food from overseas. Additionally, we will teach you how to start from daily life, cherish food, reduce waste, move toward zero landfill, and cultivate good habits of food appreciation.
"Every grain is hard-earned." The editor urges everyone: please don't over-order and become a big waster. Eating is a blessing; finishing your meal brings even more happiness. Practice "cherish drinks and food" starting from daily life!
Dear friends of all ages, don't miss this opportunity—come join us for this sustainable feast, from farm to table, practicing carbon reduction and zero waste~
