My City is a 50-minute cross-disciplinary creative performance that combines piano, media arts, and emotion-tracking technology to give audiences a sense of Hong Kong's emotional pulse.

The work centers on the theme of 'When Piano Meets Digital Technology' (Pianographique), fusing piano music with digital visuals. Here, Music Director Lam Fung's music is in multiple dialogues with artist Qu Yunqiao's images. As the performer dances on the keys, they become lines of light; the music is not just played but previously 'painted' in space.

Through ever-changing audio-visual focal points, the city lines and coastal shapes of Manhattan, as well as abstract light and shadow, reconstruct the Hong Kong we know. The city is no longer just architecture and scenery but also memory, rhythm, and an inner landscape of its people.

At the core of the brain hub is emotion-tracking technology, which collects audience members' emotional fluctuation data in real-time. These fleeting messages will be transformed into creative production materials, combined with sound and images, generated and interpreted on-site, presenting the collective emotions within the space as a unique audio-visual scene.

The energy of this moment is spontaneously composed into a melody, resonating with every fleeting instant.
